About Josef Sunario
A legal professional with over twenty years of experience in various industries. Had been entrusted with various roles: associate at a top tier law firm, managing a legal division at a major property and construction company, as in-house legal counsel at a U.S.-based multinational energy company, managing the legal team of a major pharmaceutical distributor, and as Group Head of Legal Affairs of a holding company managing independent power producers operating in several areas in Indonesia.
Focusing on getting the job done, open minded, eager to merge and integrate with the team and being approachable in communication while adhering compliance, providing practical legal advises expanding from operation, compliance to legal-related commercial matters of the company.
Education
Josef earned his Law Degree from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Padjadjaran and his Master Degree (LL.M.) from Southern Methodist University - Dedman School of Law, Dallas - Texas (USA).
He is admitted to the Indonesian Bar (PERADI)
Sharing and Learning
Josef is actively involved as speaker and panelist in various legal events. He enjoys sharing knowledge and learning from other professionals. Willing to be open to share with others as well as learning from others is an important mindset to continuously develop ourselves both as a professional and also as a person.
Passionate about Literature & Reading
Reading has always been a passion of mine, particularly when it comes to novels, spiritual texts, and other enriching literature. Delving into self-development and history books not only broadens my horizons but also deepens my understanding of the world around me.
I believe that an open mind is essential for grasping knowledge and appreciating the context of various historical situations. Each book, whether fictional or factual, offers a unique perspective that contributes to my personal growth.
Knowledge is indeed the key that unlocks the potential for introspection and enlightenment, as guidance for my journey of knowledge, self-discovery and awareness.
